I had my second anxiety attack yesterday afternoon after sending the kids to their granny's house.
The first time I had it was when Mayra was still in my tummy.
It was so difficult to grasp for air. Difficult to get a full cycle of breathing and so difficult to get my body in control of my breathing.
I thought I would have died.
Luckily I am being given a second chance to still be here with the kids.
They make me put the nebulizer on. Things did not get better. In fact, it got worst.
The nurse told me to relax since the side effect of nebulizer is heart palpitation.
No more nebulizer for me in the future. It was so uncomfy.
They took my blood to check for my thyroid TSH level since it's been 2 years I stopped the medication. Result came back unsatisfactory so they are giving me levothyroxine and I have to eat that damxn pill for the rest of my life.
Nope, it's very unlikely that this shortness of breath have something to do with my thyroid problem.
Nevertheless, since I was prescribed earlier might as well I continue.
The doctor didnt recommend lung xray since my oxygen level is still fine (God knows how I struggled so hard to put oxygen into my body). They only gave me medicines to deal with my blocked nose.
Right now, my nasal passage is as clear as the sky. But still I find it hard to breathe sometimes.
I asked the nurse whether this is asthma. She said the doctor will be able to tell immediately if I had asthma, so right now that was not the case.
His diagnosis is that I am just stressed out. Yesterday my BP level went up tho this is seldom happening. I guess he's right....
So he referred me to the psychiatrist to join the counseling session to manage my stress.
See if things get well thereafter.

Wow..it's been quite a while lol...
Just got back from the hospital. Mayra is now sleeping so mommy is eager to post updates coz I think the D-day is very near approaching.
Last week (37+2) I got admitted arah wad 32 due to suspected leakage of amniotic fluid since week 37. They monitor for 2 days - no further leakage so I got discharged on Thursday (37+4) dengan syarat mesti habiskan antibiotic for 7days.
This morning around 7.30am I felt mcm ada something keluar from bawah and I suspected mucus plug - after doing all the image googling. Not surprised tho coz since last night I've been experiencing severe pain arah my lower back, and what feels like menstrual cramp (karau rasanya). Yes it was painful but still bearable, tho not comfy and hard to find a position to be able to sleep.
So...met Dr Azmah tadi around 10.30am, she checked my cervix and seems like baby masih belom ready to pop out, coz it's still high up there she actually had to saluk dalam2 (omg sakit). She said there's still no progress of baby coming out anytime soon and there's no reason to induce since sudah ada scar from my previous C-section. Unless if I experience cramping, ada bloody show, aing ketuban pecah then only I have to rush to the labor room and they will do elective czer (if I recall correctly lah). As of now let the nature does its work and hopefully this time around I will be able to deliver normallyy lah...AAMIIN...
Actually panjang lagi kan type 😅 but malas. next time. Let's see if I can upload gambar mucus plug using this fon. Kan update pakai pc, slow banar.
Update : nop...cannot upload photos/videos via iphone 🙄 android's way better 👍🏼 sigh
Another update: 12.50pm - some more mucus plug can be seen arah mangkuk tandas. no fresh blood yet.

Wow..it's been quite a while lol...

Yesterday, we were so happy to get up from bed, because we were so keen to know the gender of this baby, and to get information from the ultrasound technician about how well our baby is.
We arrived @ RIPAS at around 8.15am.
We waited more than an hour before my name was called.
I thought I would be seeing this kind, middle aged malay woman who used to always scan my tummy.
Instead I met this chinese lady yg quite snobbish 😅 sombong sulnya huhu... I dont get to ask her name tho... mind you, not all chinese are like that ah...the chinese dietitian I met yesterday was an angel 😇 love her to bits...and Dr Alice from Endocrine Unit is also a bless. They are lovely people, glad to have them around ! 😉
Ok, so I cakap lah at this lady, I said nicely "kalau dapat, minta tolong check kan gender ya"
well, it's GOVERNMENT CLINIC y'allllllll....what do you expect...
you have to request to get them going....
otherwise they wont do that for you...
then she said "only if I can see"
ok sure, no hal...
it took her around 1 minute before she turned the screen for me to have a peek.
and she said "right now I cannot see the gender"
"it's okay lah" i said, and continue saying "how about the baby? are all the organs well developed?"
"that one also i cannot see. as you can see here, it's too blurry"
oh....and i kept quiet.
and she continued "we'll see how it is on the next scan"
ohh......okay
so I got up and left the room, disappointed.
we went there for an ultrasound, hoping to hear some news...but...
then lapas atu have to wait again another hour for consultation with the doctor.
that time mood sudah down berabis...
oh by the way, my weight kemarin dropped sikit, and blood pressure was 106/66
bila doctor panggil masuk, she asked me to lie down to check my tummy, and she asked "how's the ultrasound?"
I said to her "she asked me to wait for the next scan coz she couldnt see it clearly"
doctor cakap "maybe you asked about the gender? maybe it's still too early"
so i replied "yes i did ask her about gender, that one I dont mind lah. but I also asked her about the organs of my baby, and all she could say was - still blurry"
doctor seemed surprised and said "i thought i saw a statement just now" so there she was, reading the screen again.
the statement says something like this "brain chamber seems normal. all organs seem ok, dont see any defect"
and i was like....tediam skajap
I THOUGHT THAT CHINESE LADY SAID TO ME "ALL IS STILL BLURRY"
ani okay tia? normal tia? why didnt she say that to my face? all she had to say was "still blurry"
sasak ku...huhu...
i guess my BP kemarin atu naik kali pasal i kept on thinking about it sampai ani...
if she can make a statement like that to inform the doctor, she could have said the same thing to me....
is this the standard procedure kah? letting the doctors know tapi diam2 arah patient... I DONT GET IT
buat ultrasound pn inda sampai 5 minit. i know la banyak patient di luar. sigh...
I remember dulu masa pregnant with mayra, 16-18 weeks sudah nampak pakai machine Dr Ding di yayasan, Dr Ding cakap 60% girl. 40% boy
then 18-20 weeks lagi buat scan di CY Lim clinic, 80% girl, 20% boy kata Dr Emy.
yang ani, 20 weeks guna machine hospital kerajaan, still cannot see anything...rubbish lah, baby that time was stretching his/her leg....i saw it....mana ada bekatup... (sorry emo sikit !)
and trust me...these are not the only reasons I got frustrated kemarin...

When I was 2months+ pregnant, my TSH level was around 7++
To have a very healthy pregnancy, the level should be below 2
and 2 days ago, the doctor was quite happy to see my TSH blood test result
it was around 1.3 if im not mistaken.
Nevertheless, she increased the dosage from 50mcg to 75mcg,
because according to her, as the pregnancy progresses,
the baby requires more thyroid hormone from the mother.
Well, not a problem...as long as my baby is healthy and happy,
anything for you my dear...

15 Weeks 2 Days
Today's appointment is just doing routine check up.
I kept on losing weight, hard to gain weight eh...mcm mayra dulu😕
Blood pressure was fine, 104/61
Checked baby's heartbeat using a fetal doppler, no sound. no heartbeat😰
Panic sekajap...
Doctor said it's pretty normal tho, since my belly has too much fat lol...
Fetal doppler will only be able to detect heartbeat around week 14-16
Sometimes 12-14 weeks, esp kalau skinny girls lah..
So she decided to do an ultrasound just to make sure baby was okay.
and Alhamdulillah, my lil bunny active garak2 hihi....I guess pasal tadi I ate chocolate before jumpa doctor.
So far, everything went well, thanks to Allah....
next meeting will be on 31 Oct 2017, for anomaly scan. or anatomy scan. not sure if they are similar tho. written on paper was anatomy, but the doctor said we're gonna be doing anomaly #shrug# 💁

Maternity Cloths and Appointments
Today: 22 September 2015
Week 26 Day 0
I am still using my old clothing. Haven't bought any maternity dresses yet coz my tummy didn't really grow as much as I expected.
Went to gynae RIPAS yesterday for another consultation.
Did the routine : heartbeat was fine, 150bpm and urine was normal, and that's it. LOL.
Next appointment will be on the 26th for my GTT (Glucose Tolerance Test).
Next ultrasound will be on 5th October.
Not much to say tho. We did few relocation of furniture in our room to give space for our baby. Will be buying more and more stuffs for BabyM this week!
Baby still kicks like mad. Hehe... It's ok sweetheart. We both love you till Jannah... Can't wait to see you! xoxo

First time bleeding (red blood)
13th August 2015
20 weeks + 2 days
I experienced 1 time bleeding when I was 19weeks 6days pregnant.
Usually, I will only see whitish stringy mucus, creamish kind of lotion type, egg white cervical mucus + brownish + blackish snot (which the doctor said it was just old blood being flushed out).
So that night, when I wiped and saw the red color, I was....em..a little bit on panic,
coz I don't wanna lose this baby.... We've been this far already and I don't want to give up.
The red blood comes with the egg white cervical mucus with a brown tint as well.
and that was it. No more after that *fingers crossed*
The good thing is...............starting 20 weeks 1 day of pregnancy, I can already feel the baby's movements!!! Sometimes a few kicks ! Not strong enough to record it on camera yet. I am pretty sure those are baby kicks! Before this, I only felt some flickers, flutters, and bubbles. Now that it's getting more intense, oh Im so happy ! ^^ so so very happy ^^
Grow well baby...
Oh yea, for 3 consecutive days, I keep on losing weight.
Actually my weight fluctuates during this pregnancy.
I am now 5months pregnant and only gain around 1.9kg :(
Im a bit concern about this and will talk to my doctor again about this issue.
Last time she was not worried at all, looking at my BMI she does not expect to see huge increment.
I had diarrhea last week, but I managed to gain some weight but not for long...
Next ultrasound (anatomy yay !!) will be on 17th August 2015.
I can't wait to see you babyM...kisskiss!

9 WEEKS 3 DAYS - STILL PREGNANT! :D
It's been a month since I last posted.
I guess the pregnancy thingy turned me into a couch potato, feeling so tired all the time!
Well...there are zillions of things to say but I do not know where to start because I feel so lazy and dizzy and lazy.
Today, my lil sprout is measuring at 9weeks 3days.
Last week we made a visit to Dr Ding clinic because hubby wanted to hear lil sprout's heartbeat.
I heard it already 2 days earlier at Early Pregnancy Unit at RIPAS. Unfortunately the doctor didnt allow my husband to hear the heartbeats, not until it has progressed to at least 12 weeks. So my husband was a bit disappointed and opted to go to a private clinic.
When baby was measuring 8weeks 4days, his or her heart was beating at 178 beats per minute. YES!
His or her. There's only ONE baby in there. Hehe.... It's OK !!! We are more than happy tho we expected to see twins.
Nevertheless, up to this date, I have not experienced any bleeding, ALHAMDULILLAH.
One time I had a brown discharge, not much to soak a panty pad.
Next appointment will be on 2nd June 2015 at HIGH RISK clinic (due to my previous 4 miscarriages, sigh!!!) to review my blood test.
Next ultrasound will be done on 15th June 2015, hubby has already booked his leave, he never wanted to miss out any ultrasound appointments. By that time, I will be around 11weeks 6days.
Ramadhan and Syawal, they are coming up...
Sent my kain to tailor shops already, and I am very nervous they are not able to cut to accommodate my growing belly.
Oh yea, since I am now under HIGH RISK clinic, doctor was expecting me to eat Aspirin one tablet a day, as well as to do daily injection with Fragmin. CRAZY. The idea to get myself injected EVERY MORNING was just HORRENDOUS. I am scared !!! Huhu, dont tell the doctor, I have never did any of these yet.
According to them, since I miscarried 4 times before, I need to do that to avoid blood clotting. But my previous blood test for coagulation was negative. Done on both 2012 and 2013. I have never had an issue with blood clotting. According to the doctor, TEST OR WITHOUT TEST I need to get down with Aspirin and Fragmin (the injection). Crazy. Next appointment, I will need to check for coagulation blood result, it it turned out negative again, I WILL NEVER EVER WANA DO FRAGMIN AND ASPIRIN.
From my research, continuous usage of ASPIRIN for a long term can cause my baby to become infertile if I am carrying a son. I love my lil sprout already and I am not gonna let them to go through infertility, coz I know how it feels to be hardly conceived. Ask those who have waited several years to conceive, they did not enjoy to go through this process. So NO! No ASPIRIN for me Doctor. Off they go to the trash!
To sustain pregnancy, I consume a lot of food that can naturally increase the production of Progesterone. At the same time, I will make sure I ate enough vitamins and minerals every day.
Wait...this rant has gone long. LOL. I was lazy to type a lot at first. So Im gonna stop at here.
This pregnancy gave me unbearable headaches.
I cried at times.
But as long as my lil sprout is healthy, I am all good.
I cant wait to see you baby....

So I decided to take on clomid this cycle, fortunately I was on my 3rd day in my cycle yesterday!
So im taking 100mg of clomid and 0.75mg of decan per day!
I hope this is it!
Oh....nearly forgot to mention, my mensus last cycle came early (28 days) I usually will have this short cycle before I got married, so yeah...im a happy bunny :D last cycle I realized that my cervical mucus got discharged a lil bit too early, thanks to salmon hihi, and I caught a fever during my ovulation, which came a lil bit too early as well...oh my!!
I wanna share this amazing product, I guess this is the one that brought back my short cycle: Thanks for FURMON.
And the sperm improvement i'll give credit to IE (intense energies, i think), we bought IE and FURMON as a package.
Seriously, do not eat Shaklee supplements. They messed up mu cycles, suppressed my thyroid hormones, and killed the sperm cells.
For men, just eat your zinc, dates, LOADS of almonds, fish, egg. For women, never skip your folic acid. Oh yea, I am now taking folic acid from Appeton. Per box can last up to 3 months. Worth the try!

Appointment at Gynae KB
Yesterday, for the first time, we went to see a doctor from Gynae KB.
We got referred from Gynae RIPAS because generally everyone knows that the doctors there got too many patients to handle and the waiting time was horrendous.
The doctors at Gynae RIPAS also didnt care and didnt give a damn s%^* about masalah patients.
I went there 3-4 times, and no progress at all !
Back to Gynae KB, waiting time is OK. We were there around 8am, and we were the 7th on the queue line. Not bad..
We met this indian doctor whom I didnt get the chance to know her name, she was OK, she asked quite a lot of questions, and most IMPORTANTLY instructed the lab ppl to carry out a lot of blood test. I can only remember about the Karyotyping (both my husband and I), Protein C and GTT tests. I never head about these before...

Semen Analysis #1 and #2
Went to Lee Clinic last night, husband went in and I waited in the car.
The anticipation was pfff...god knows...
Well, I received msgs from my husband saying that his sperm count was high but no swimmers. YUP!
No swimmers! NIL. Zero percent, not even a single sperm swam.
So devastating... I thought it would get worse day by day.
But no...the moment I saw the hardcopy of the result, I was HAPPY!
How could I not be happy, his sperm count skyrocketed from 5.45million to 270million !!!!
That's A LOT! That's more than normal!
His sperm morphology increased from 3% to 70% !!! What a huge difference!!!
Now that his sperm genes are getting back to normal, Im so glad..
The only issue is his sperm motility.
From 13% down to 0%
I have no idea why...
I hope the next SA will show some improvements.
He's gonna start running soon, so wish us luck!

Fourth appointment with Dr Avinash
My husband and I were supposed to meet Dr Avinash on 13.03.2014
But we went there yesterday evening (Tuesday evening)
I was worried if I will get pregnant this cycle, I will lose the baby again due to Progesterone suppression.
My progesterone pills have finished, and the last time I consume the pill was on Monday morning.
Due to the yellowish cervical mucus that I had yesterday, I decided to bring my husband to meet Dr Avinash earlier to seek for advise.
She allowed me to continue with my Progesterone taking, but warned to stop immediately as soon as my period comes.
I also stocked up my Metformin, so that is all about it.
Will be going to see her again if I get my BFP or my mensus.

Third Appointment with Dr Avinash
Today, 04 March 2014, my husband and I went to Lee Clinic Gadong for our third appointment.
Today's agenda is to discuss on the result of swab and to inform the doctor I have actually ovulated (actually I wanted her to check on my egg(s) by ultrasound but I forgot to do so - on a second note, I thought it would be a dangerous thing to do in case the egg(s) is/are already fertilized)
I was a bit moody at that time, you know....marah kat husband I.....(check my previous post)
So I went into the room alone and met Dr Avinash.
Ok, here's the result. My body is CLEARED with no infection no Group B streptococcus no harmful bacteria !!! How mesmerizing ! I do look after my hygiene and putting it as my priority before health and safety. So worth it !
So in case I got pregnant in the future, there's no need for me to eat so many types of antibiotics. But I will still need to monitor and to keep this Group B Streptococcus at bay. Doctor said sometimes they will come back before labor. There's is still a reason to get worried. I heard that if this Group B Strep enters the placenta it will condemn the baby's immune system and will be prone to get Down Syndrome and other defects. Im not sure....I might be wrong...So pls get yourself checked on this too !

Second Appointment with Dr Avinash
We went to see her on 25 February 2014 for our second appointment.
This time doctor wanted to check whether my follicles are growing (remember, I was on clomid this cycle from Day 2-6)
When I met her, I was on my Cycle Day 16, and luckily before I went to her clinic, I tested OPK and there was a dark surge. She, on the other hand, expected my dominant follicles to be as large as 18mm (or 1.8cm). Unfortunately, my biggest follicle at that time measured around 11mm (1.1cm)

Of course I was worried !!! I guess she could see my reaction and further said "since your cycle is usually long, it will take some time for you to ovulate, still on the way don't worry, they will grow"
Phewww... =D
So she gave me a guideline on when to do intercourse and so on. She also asked me to start increasing my dosage on METFORMIN from 1000mg to 2000mg. So instead of taking 2 tablets per day, I have to take 4 tablets a day =/ the tablets areee hugeeeeee i tellll you....
Oh, she also took a swab inside my you-know-what to check whether I still have the Group B Streptococcus (the infection that I had during my first pregnancy).
Next appointment will be on the 4th March 2014, result of swab will also be available.

Well...I came across some postings on Facebook Fanpages, mentioning about her as a very professional doctor who had got some women here in Brunei fell pregnant after so many years of waiting.
I even inboxed some of the women for clarification.
So my husband and I decided to pay her a visit one fine day.
On 03 February 2014, we went there around noon since both of us did not want to apply for leaves.
Yes !! Good thing is that this Dr Avinash is on duty from 8am till 4pm straight, every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at Gadong branch. Speaking about convenience !
At first, we decided to arrange for Sperm Analysis during our fist visit. But after I told her all my stories on my past miscarriages and when I told her I was yet to wait for my mensus to come (that day I was in Cycle Day 48 !!), as well as all the other symptoms I am now having, she suggested a transvaginal ultrasound to check on my reproductive organs.
Sorry I forgot to mention, after my last miscarriage, I gained 8kg as easy as a pie. My tummy looks like I am 6 months pregnant. Regardless my efforts to lose weight by consuming expensive shakes and drinks as well as controlling my diet, I turned out to gain more.
So doctor suspected i might have a PCOS (oh no!)
and the ultrasound confirmed it... HUHU......
Since my mensus was still not coming, she gave me NORCUTIN, to be consumed for 5 days. 2days after my last consumption I got my mensus on 10th February 2014. She also gave me CLOMID and DECAN to help me ovulate and get pregnant, to be consumed on the 2nd day of my mensus. I was put on 1000mg of METFORMIN too to treat my PCOS.
I was surprised when I googled that this METFORMIN is a drug meant to treat diabetes. But it can also treat PCOS, similar in my case. I found out so many women across the world got pregnant with METFORMIN alone. Some got pregnant (even with twins!) with the combination of METFORMIN and CLOMID. Well, if Im not mistaken, DECAN helps to deal with the side effects of all these drugs.
Total amount that we got charged by Lee Clinic on our first visit was $285.
Not bad... =p Hopefully all is worth it.
